Martha Stewart is going to prison. She was convicted of lying to the people who were investigating her, and her company. These people who she was said to lie to work for the U.S. government.
In all these years that I have been in prison and on America�s �pride and joy�, death row, I have never heard of any of the people who work for the government ever going to prison for getting caught telling a lie.
Even in a death penalty case where there is a life on the line, people who work for or testify for the government and lie, they never go to prison! Why is this?
Is it because the system protects the people who work within it? Could it be that because certain people work for the government make the laws that we are supposed to respect, honor and obey but do not consider themselves as �we� and therefore those laws do not apply to them?
Maybe they even consider themselves �above the law� or at least the laws that we poor people must live by. Yet Martha Stewart isn�t poor, so this can�t be applied in her case like it is in mine or the others who are in prison and on death row because the government lied in our cases. If I am correct a government worker lied in her case as well and as of yet nothing has happened to him.
I guess this shows their mindset of �getting you anyway they can,� or to win by any means necessary even if they can only get you on a lie! I was told that a lie is a lie is a lie, no matter who tells it. Yet like most other things in this country it makes a hell of a difference who tells the lies!
When we were children we were told each and every day in school that we had to �pledge allegience to the flag of the united states of america.� Yet we were never told that the america we pledge to does not pledge anything to us! In fact it often does everything to destroy us, even if they have to lie about it�with the understanding that they won�t go to prison if they get caught in the lie!
