You Can Continue to Ignore the Truth if You Want
BY KEVIN COOPER

May 5, 2025

Those of us who are not beholding to any political organization, or special interest group, are free to speak the whole truth on any given subject. Even if and when the rest of society chooses to purposely ignore it because the whole truth exposes the lies that you will not acknowledge.

It is well known that the mainstream news media for the most part has a history, a track record of being one-sided in their coverage of the news. They very seldom tell the whole truth, or both sides of the story, and I guess it's because they are beholden to special interest or certain political ideology. For example the Fox network proudly boasts that it is a conservative news organization. Therefore they look at and report on the news that they choose to report on from a conservative point of view, which most often means it's one-sided!

This fact is even more evident in the different reporting done on the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by certain members of the U.S. Military. The different mainstream news medias act like this type of abuse is something new to the U.S. Government's military section, but the rest of us know this is not something new.

Why won't the mainstream news media tell the whole truth about the U.S. Government and its history of abusing people? We all know that the government won't tell us the truth; it's not in their best interest to do so. But one would think that the mainstream news media would, that is until you understand what the true purpose of the mainstream news media is.

If the whole truth was told by these different agencies then no one would be shocked when these continued crimes against humanity are exposed! No other people around the world are shocked by the abuse that was recently exposed, only Americans seem to be in disbelief. Everyone else around the world sees that America is doing now just what America has always done!

This is why here in 2004 the U.S. Government is still committing crimes against humanity which is first started doing way back in the 17th century. Now just like back then the people who have those crimes committed against them are called evil, or savages, or different, or "them" as in "us against them."

Anyone who has seen the photographs of the U.S. Military abusing the Iraqi prisoners can't help but to be horrified. But what is more horrifying is the fact that without those photographs this abuse would still be on-going and no one would even know that it is happening. If any former Iraqi prisoner would have told the mainstream news media about their abuse, or the government, they would have been called a liar!

This type of treatment of prisoners, or any people who put up a fight against the U.S. Government has a real and vibrant history in the government. The G-Men and women who work for the U.S. Military, CIA, FBI, or any other type of agency have a 'whole historical archive to learn from'! In fact behind closed doors many of these G-people are taught how to break people's will, to torture people, to take the fight out of people, to implement America's justice at any and all costs!

The same type of mindset and attitude that led the U.S. Military to abuse those prisoners is the exact type of mindset that was used against the indigenous people of this land when the U.S. Government's military section went about stealing their land and murdering those people! This is the same type of mindset that was used by the people who stole Africans from Africa and made them into slaves in this country. The government then had to break the will of these peoples, they had to break their spirits and take the fight out of them in order to subjugate them.

This type of mindset has been used by this government against any and all people throughout its history. This was done to the Mexicans who also used to own this land, it was done to the Chinese who helped build the transcontinental railroad across this country. It was used against the Japanese in order to put them into internment camps. It's used against gays and lesbians and every other group of people that the U.S. Government takes upon itself to describe as anything other than what they are, human beings!

If these things happen can anyone truly be shocked that the U.S. Military was accused of raping Iraqi women prisoners? Just think what was done to female slaves, or female Indians or any other group of women who came into contact with the U.S. Military. Rape by the government has always been used to break the spirits and will of the people both men and women who they were trying to conquer!

If you look at the Vietnam war you will find some of the same exact things done there being done in Iraq. Does anyone even remember the Melai massacre in Vietnam? Does anyone care to remember that Lt. Calley while standing trial for that crime against humanity whose not convicted of it! In fact no one was, and he said the same thing back then that the current U.S. Military soldiers are saying now and that all soldiers caught committing war crimes have said: "They were just following orders!"

The American people or society as a whole can continue to ignore the truth about the policies of the U.S. Government if they want, but they are only lying to themselves because the rest of the world won't ignore it. Many Americans seemed shocked that so many different people from around this world in just about every country hate the U.S. Government!

During the so called Indian wars in the 1870s Chief Black Kettle stated that wherever the white man, 'the u.s. government!' goes there is bloodshed! This fact has not changed in all these years!

The thing that makes the real difference in this case are those photographs. Many groups of people who have either been physically tortured by this government and psychologically humiliated by this government, and have had other crimes against humanity committed against them by this government don't have the photographs to prove what happened to them.

These people who took those photographs were so bold, so arrogant, so confident in what they were doing that they felt invincible. They honestly believed in what they were doing was the right thing that to them the end justified the means. But this can only happen when one group of people dehumanizes another group of people, degrades another group of people and makes itself superior to those people, if only in their own minds.

These war crimes are not isolated incidents, as certain people from the U.S. Government want us to believe they are. They can't be because the truth of the matter is that this country has a whole history which was built upon the very real fact that in order to have their way they have committed every type of atrocity against poor people of all different races, cultures, religions and sexual orientations. This is the whole truth and this is the American way!

All anyone has to do is research the history of this country and you will find out for yourself exactly what the truth it. If you rely on the mainstream news media to tell you the whole truth you will never get it! Whenever your government is built on a lie and the mainstream news media continues to not only help support this lie but spread this lie the truth will never be told, or known!

What lie is that? That this country is good and the rest of the world is either evil or different!
