In January 1961 President John F. Kennedy gave his inaugural speech. Within that speech was the following statement: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
In 2004 that statement should be rewritten to this: "Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what you can do to make sure that your country won't do anything to you!"
